Scared for my baby

Last night around 4am I woke up and my stomach was small mind u I'm 38+6 wks and my stomach is huge I can never see my belly button and lastnight I could there was no water or nothing I was just laying on my back and something told me something not right that's when I felt my stomach and it was small no contractions or nothing so I just layed down and I was just holding my stomach to make sure my baby was moving and she was then I fell asleep and when I woke up my stomach was back to the same size has anyone had this problem or do they know what's happening please help.... I go get induced tomorrow morning

Sounds like she dropped. When they drop it will make your belly look smaller sometimes because they are not positioned as high.

It's possible she was just laying farther in your back at that moment! I wouldn't worry

It was scary this is my third and I never had this problem with my other two

it might just be the baby moved position and so looked smaller, I had the same fright with my first!

Lol Yes i was up I woke my bf up and he said it was fine but in the morning he said it was small but he wad to tired to get up cause he had a exam in the morning I made sure I was up lol

It could be that the baby is moving around. But I gotta ask, are you certain you were 100% awake? During pregnancy, especially towards the end, our dreams become extremely real to us. When I was pregnant with my son, I coulda sworn my husband sold a bunch of our stuff to an old girlfriend. I was literally going to kill him. I decided to calm down, went to bed, woke up and all my things had returned. I questioned him about it and he suggested I see a professional. But it was sooo real. To this day I wonder how he did it.
