Well, today (8/4/14) was a weird day lol! I woke up feeling all kinds of weird; nauseous, headache, back ache like crazy, and I had diarrhea! I called my OB to see if she could check me out because last Thursday I was 4 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced, and although I wasn't toppled over in pain, something didn't feel right. I met with my OB at 2:30 to find out I was 5 centimeters and in active labor! She stripped my membranes to finish me off and admitted me into L&D! She broke my water at 5:48 PM, I was then 6 centimeter, having contractions every 5 minutes but not feeling them. As soon as she broke my water, my contractions became intense and started coming every 2-3 minutes. After breathing through my contractions for a while, I told my mom to squeeze my hand with each contraction so I could focus my mind else where and not on the pain (I really wanted to have her naturally)... no later than muttering those words, I told my nurse that I could feel her coming. I felt the ring of fire!!! My contractions were so intense, my daughter stated coming out on her own without me even having to push through my contractions. She was born at 6:14 PM! Weighing 7 lbs 5 oz & 20 inches long. Full head of hair!! I know all mother's say this about their children, but she is perrrrrfect! She's has such a soft white complexion, rosy red cheeks, and dark black hair! Her big brother is so in love with her! He couldn't stop holding her and kissing her! My other princess, Callie, is still trying to get used to another baby haha, but I'm sure she'll adapt quickly! I am breast feeding, so that's why I'm awake right now typing this!

You amaze me!!! You should be so proud of yourself! I bet every nurse in the hospital is talking about you and how fast you popped that little angel out! I'm going to meet her someday soon. And finally give you the biggest hug you've ever had in your life! I can't believe we almost had our babies on the same day. Our friendship has been the biggest blessing - thank God for this app!
