Skype Baby Shower

I just moved away from all of my family, in laws and friends and am really sad about not being able to have them at the baby shower. I'll be getting together with some friends here and having a small celebration but it is weird that I want to do some type of Facebook event where it includes everyone back home too?

I've gone to countless baby showers for all my friends and family and I feel like something will be missing for me if they're not included but with no actual baby shower to go to, it just seems weird so I wanted to ask for some thoughts :)

HOPE YOU'RE ALL DOING AND FEELING AMAZING ♡

I think I will just make my intentions clear and hell, I might even add that in the Facebook invite :) Thank you!

I would tell them how you feel... just what you said in your post... anyone who loves you will love your baby and want to celebrate their coming birth

That's so sweet! She must have felt special, I never thought about it that way, that it's just special to include them. I didn't want anyone to think I was being selfish for any reason. A friend pointed out it might look like I just want gifts but I never thought of that, once she said it I felt like everyone else would think that so it's made me nervous. I think it would just make them feel special and not like they need to buy anything.

I think that would be really nice... I live pretty close to most my family but my mil is two hours away so for our gender reveal party we skyped her and she had some family over so she got to see its a boy with everyone else :-) she said it made her feel so welcome because she couldn't make the drive on a Wednesday night
