Doctor not calling back!

So I've been having contractions all day and in the last few hours I have been getting at least 6 an hour. Yesterday I was at the doctors and they stripped my membranes. So I called the on call service twice to see if they want me to come in and no call back yet and its been 2 hours. Can I just show up at labor and delivery?

We are heading in now. They told me to come in once I started to get 6 in a hour because my little guy is really low and they said once it starts my labor may be quick. I've been having irregular contractions for about a week and I was I think 2 cm and almost all the way thinned out at my last check. And since last evening they have been getting more and more regular and now I'm getting them very frequently. I just can't believe no one has called back yet!

My contractions were irregular for 3 days the entire time I was in the early stages of labor. I almost didn't go to the hospital since I had been checked about 36hrs before hand. If I wouldn't have went, I would have had a baby at home. I was already a 6 when I got to l&d. And just being a 1 at the last check. Just go in any way. Worst they can do is send you home. :)

I would wait til either your water breaks or til the contractions are about 5 min apart. Good luck.
