To those who work and dress up for work

What kind of dress shoes do you wear?  I work a 10 hour day,  most of which on my feet so heels are a no go. But I need some dress shoes they have a lot of support and are comfy for all day but have no idea where to start.

I used to wear Ecco, Dansko is really good too along with neutralizer. My Eccos lasted over a year with near daily use also. I loved them :) maybe buy 1/2 or 1 size bigger if your feet swell. Non of my shoes fit :/ i live in flip flops and tennis shoes now lol

I wear boots that are worn in enough to add comfy inserts just not sure what brand to go with as all inserts I've had in the past suck. I'll dress cute and professional leggings long shirts, skirts etc and tennis shoes!! So your feet don't look as cute talk to boss about getting a pass on footwear... Luckily my boss doesn't care.

I usually wear heels to work but have recently needed to stop doing that so i wear a cute pair of flats and put my feet up as much as i can.

I wear flats with gel inserts. It took me forever to find flats that don't look like they are for a little girl or old ladySo I bought double pairs in two colors lol.

I'd say go with cute flats and get some nice inserts for them. Boots are also great this time of year with skirts/dresses or leggings and long shirts. All dressy :)

Depends on how much you dress up. I often wear slacks and blouses, and I wear polished danskos with them. They are made for being on your feet (I am on my feet all day long) Of course they are not sexy, and they run over a hundred bucks, but they are clean and look pretty sleek and professional. I've actually had them for over a year and they are holding up beautifully.
