elective ceasarian in nsw, aust

Hi
does anyone know if you can elect to have a ceasar in a nsw public hospital?  
I have a groin hernia which I have had forever and also bad hips and really am worried about a natural birth

I'm in QLD and I know you can if you have private health and are going through an ob. Maybe ask your midwife as it is a medical reason you are concerned about or get your gp to refer you to an ob. Good luck!

You will have to ask your midwife. I believe sertain hospitals yes. But not 100%. They will question your decision though. Best of luck
