Transverse at 34w 4d

My baby was breech for awhile, then at the last appointment the dr said she was head down an we were in the clear. I asked, What if she moves? Dr says, Oh she won't move. Seriously? How can she be so confident? Well now I am positive she is transverse. What is the likelihood she can still move and at how many weeks will my dr make me schedule a c section?

Thank you. That's helps. I will be 37 weeks the week of Christmas and I think my doctors office is taking that week off. I'm afraid I'll be forgotten. :(

I'm 37+3 n was at the hospital yesterday as my baby was transverse at my appointment the day before. They did a scan n he was head down but I'm not that confident he'll stay. He's been transverse the whole pregnancy apart from when they checked yesterday n the end of last week. I'm seeing my midwife again tomorrow n if hes transverse again they'll send me bk to hospital for a scan n to discuss c section.usually they won't do anything until 37 weeks then try to move baby manually (I'm going to refuse this as I'm rhesus negative n it can cause a risk of bleeding) then they usually schedule a section before your due date,at around 39 weeks so I have heard. I've read lots of stories of babies turning at the last minute tho so don't lose hope. Fingers crossed my baby is still head down tomorrow. If your water breaks n you suspect baby is transverse you should go immediatly to the hospital as cord can prolapse
