Want to tell my story :)
Hello everyone! My name is Missy, I've been saved by Jesus, I'm a happy wife and I absolutely adore motherhood! I'll start my story at my 5th child. Very healthy pregnancy. My beautiful daughter surprised us with Down syndrome and server heart complications. Although up to 60% of babies born with Down's have heart defects, my Mavah's was so sever they couldn't compare her to any other child with Down syndrome. I right off the bat decided to trust my Father God(hadn't always been a believer, def hadn't always been a loving obedient child haha). Mavah is amazing, God has changed me, taught me, and soften my heart tremendously! Mavah's first heart surgery was successful at 6 days old. I lived by her side day and night at a children's hospital 2 1/2 hrs away from my other children, my husband, friends, home routine. I truly learned to depend on Christ. It was so hard at first due to me being stubborn and love doing things my way! haha Mavah came home after her second surgery. She thrived, grew and loved her sisters and brother at home. I was amazed at her mile stones! Mavah went in for another heart surgery and it didn't go as planned. She went back in and got a pacemaker. I brought her home but could tell she wasn't herself. We had to be helicopters back and she endured another heart surgery to undo what had been done. Her body fought hard. But her body wouldn't accept her new anatomy. At 9 months old she took her last breaths in my arms. My husband and I devastated. I have a close enough relationship with God to where I felt comfortable enough to ask why! As I shared my story people kept coming up to me, writing me, calling, texting telling me because of my story about Mavah that had given their lives to Christ or rebuilt their relationship with Him. I was overjoyed knowing what my daughter's life had such amazing reason! The Holy Spirit asked me to treat her as if she is still alive. I do and its made a world of difference! My husband and I decided to try for another baby. We endured our first miscarriage. I was so broken, I honestly didn't know what to do. I thought I'm forever done with having children! I mean I do have 5 amazing children! this last December God put on my heart for one more. Today was dr. apt. I honestly was very nervous. But told God, I'm going to trust you either way. Today I saw my healthy baby with a strong heart beat. Today I'm 6 weeks 2 days! Mydue date is my bday Oct. 5th 2014. Can't wait to get to know everyone!
Beautiful testimony, I lost my daughter due to preterm labor on jan 1st 2008...i was 19weeks. I been trying for a baby ever since with no luck. On july 11th I found out I was pregnant with a boy...after trying for 5 years. Im now 35 weeks and will he induced when im 37 weeks. I give god all the thanks.

Awe. So heart warming and it truly is amazing how God can turn something so sad into something so great. I had a friend in high school who passed away suddenly of a heart problem but from her passing both her parents accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts. It is certainly a bitter sweet but you know that God put you on this earth to have mavah and knowing she would only be here a short time was able to use you and your husband and other kids to shine his light. So happy for you to experience the joys one again of pregnancy and bringing another wonderful child into this world. Congratulations to you and your husband and entire family - mavah and your angel baby included :-) may God richly bless you over the next several months of your pregnancy for trusting in him that he has the ultimate best plan for you.
Hallelujah! What a awesome God we serve. Im glad to have come across this story, this just makes my belief in him even stronger. I pray that God continues to bless you and your family and your faithfulness to him!

What a beautiful testimony. Our creator is such a powerful stronghold. I always find comfort from God's word the bible knowing that the evils & temporary setbacks we may face are not caused b him. But yet he still equips us with everything we need to endure. Again great story. May you continue to find peace and comfort.
