What may or may not be done?

I have my Dr's appt today for the strep b test does anyone know if they will check to see if I'm dilating already or is this something that can't be done during this time? I turned 36 weeks yesterday.

I don't think so, they usually check if you have dilated around 38-39 weeks

How do you check your dilation yourself @noides? But ya after 35wks they check you weekly,  at least with my first born they dis

I got mine done last week at 35 weeks and I was one centimeter. I have to wait Tuesday if see if I have dilated more. Just ask they already down there

They had me do it myself. You could always ask to get checked though.

I was 35 weeks yesterday at my appointment.my dr did the step b test and asked me if I wanted him to check for dilation.

I had my strep test done yesterday. I'm 36 weeks today. Amd she checked me as soon as she did the test. Good luck to ya.

My midwife did., but you can always ask.. They got your pants off anyways I don't see why they wouldn't check you!! Lol
