When it rains... It pours

Hi mommies... I'm currently 37+4... I'm so upset right now... I've been out of work for 5 months due to pregnancy... N have been living off a disability check of $239... Paying $220 a week for rent... So of course I fell behind on rent... My bf is helpful with other things DAT make up for things I can't afford... But anyway I got eviction notice today to move in 3days... DA rental office told me they can't take any payment arrangements... N now my boyfriend is upset with me and making me feel real low and alone in the situation... N on top of THAT... I'm due to be induced Friday... With no place to go :( N I have a 5yr old n its just a lot... Sorry for rambling... Just have nobody to talk to right now... Thanx for reading

What state do you live in? In CA I know they have emergency housing and some counties can give you emergency cash aide and refer you to community resources

Every town usually has assistance. When I was pregnant with my first I couldn't make rent and they helped me with rent and electric.

Usually if u've lived at a residence for atleast 6mons, they have to give u 30 days notice of eviction. And also, not all shelters r that bad. Some r specifically designated for women with children. If nothing else, it's atleast something to look into. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I've been there. It sux. But sometimes we have to do things for our children we wouldn't otherwise do. I know exactly how u feel. Trust me, I do.

I got evicted about a month ago. Went to court and had 10 days to get out. But the landlord could have made me get out even sooner. It's hard. I got lucky and was able to move in with my bfs mom. So it's him, his two kids and me, cramped up in a small house. I'm almost 39 weeks and yesterday I lost my car as well:/.. so I know the stress your going through. I'm surprised my baby is even healthy.

U should never feel like a bad mom even if u have to stay in a motel. That will put a roof over their heads and be safer then other places. Do u have any family

I'm not sure where you live at but you need to look into your landlord/tenant rightthey have to give you 30 days and everything has to go to court

I've had my daughter in hotels for a while. It wasn't fun but it was safer then the streets.

You should look into your states eviction laws. Here they say you have 3 days or whatever but legally can't do anything for 30 days. They have to take it court. And if the court sees you are trying to make payment arrangements and they refuse it then the court will most likely side with you. Something for you to look into.

They have shelters... But where I live... Dats just not the type of place to take kids... N the agencies we have... They have waiting list... Nothing on emergency basis... N with private renters... They want to verify sooo much... N income would be my issue... I did think about getting a hotel room until something comes up... But just the thought of having to take my kids there... Really makes me feel like a bad mom...
