ruptured membrane due to amino 16 weeks

At 16 weeks I had an amino done and 45 min after the procedure the membrane ruptured and I leaked all of the babies amiotic fluid. Baby still has 2.2cm of fluid but I'm on strict bed rest and have to avoid catching any infections or getting sick until hole closes hopefully. Has anyone been through something like this? Any suggestions as to what I should do? I would do anything to save this baby.

Thank you for your comments and advice. I actually received my results back and baby is perfectly normal and healthy! I did the amnio because they told me the panorama tested me at a 92% high risk for baby having trisomy 18. And results came In showing baby is perfectly fine, but doing the amnio made my membrane rupture and baby lost amnio fluid. I'm praying and hoping for the best and I will be on bed rest and drink lots of water.

Omg, the exact reason I never have those tests done. Prayers for you and hope everything heals fine.

Strict bed rest with alot of water.  If you can try to drink a gallon a day. Good Luck.
