am 20 weeks and baby facing backwards. ..

Hi i got an utrasound done on December the 22 n i wanted to see the sex of the baby so i could give the news to my family for xmas so anyway the lady said  that the baby is facing backwards is that bad i do feel her at time or at time she leaves me speechless with her movements my question is it normal? And she'll turn when she is ready ? Or would i have to under go C-section because I wanna give birth vaginal jejejejeee. ..

It's still early baby can move if she ends up turning but still backwards when you go into labor you will have back labor. Which is on top of contractions back pain

@UniquelyMoi thanx for that information I myself wađs about to pout asking about back to back.. Good to know it's harder just gotta cross our fingers that our lil ones decide to flip over

Sorry meant to add that head down and facing back is the ideal position. But even if your little one isn't head down yet, you have plenty of time :)

I found out i was pregnant at 20 weeks and I got my 1st ultrasound soon after and my baby was also breached and upside down or backwards. He stayed like that till i hit 37 weeks which was like 4 days ago. So be patient and it might take u awhile to know the sex of the baby but the baby will turn at its own time.  Don't worry and just Enjoy that the baby is healthy and growing. Congratulations ;-)

Yes it's normal and perfectly fine, in fact it's the 'correct'/ideal birthing position! My baby has been back to back at every appointment since 20wks... I hope he will turn round as my first was born back to back and it is harder to push! Good luck!
