Reusing bottles

So I keep reading conflicting articles on reusing baby bottles. I have a few bottles left from my 1st child and I was just wondering if I could reuse my baby bottles.

Ok cool thanx! I mostly will breastfeed anyways. My aunt who had 1 child 35 years ago had me 2nd guessing my reusing bottles, that's why I looked it up. Appreciate it ladies!

I agree. As long as they're sanitized it shouldn't be a problem. I think replacing the nipples would be a good idea though. Infants don't have much of an immune system yet. Just seems safer that way.

My cousin gave me all her bottles from when her son was a baby.  He's 18 months now.  I'm gonna be using his old bottles for my little one.  I see nothing wrong with it if they're sanatisied.

Why does it tell you not to? I would think it'd be like any other dish you wash..maybe replace the nipples but I can't imagine why on the rest.
