I also worked out until week 38. I'm currently 39 weeks +4 days and was only 1 cm at my last appointment (on Wednesday.) I did go down to only two days a week for about the last month, but I kept working all of my muscles and did cardio each workout. I was still working until 38 weeks and was chasing around our toddler at home, so I was starting to get extremely exhausted all the time. I feel huge right now and hard to move around because I'm all bump, but I've only gained 23lbs, which is all I need since I didn't lose all of my baby weight from my first pregnancy and was really just getting back into working out when I got pregnant again. I'm still doing squats at home and I think I'm getting closer to labor... Contractions are starting to get closer together finally at about an hour apart... We'll see!

Thank you, yea im in no pain , no swlling or anything. Just wondering if it helps during labor. Everyone says walk and you will induce your labor but i do that A lot everyday not to mention the gym.

I had to give the gym away about 22 weeks cos of an old knee injury. My physio juat aaid I'd blow it and need surgery whilst pregnant if I continued. ao I went from 3/4 days a week in gym and competitive sport to 3 ks a week in the pool. But unfortunately at 36 weeks I'm outta space in my abdomen and baby is sitting on random things. Ended up in the emergency dep yesterday with the pain. So no more exercise for me now. If ur not in pain, keep it up!!!

37 weeks and still going 4-6 days a week...I don't do as much as before, mainly light cardio since baby likes to kick and make my stomach hard and uncomfortable when I am there lol and of course I can't breathe on a good day lol! My Dr said to.keep it up, never told me to stop but everyone is different and should check! I plan on not stopping lol
