baby jose santiago has arrived!!!!!
goodmorning ladies,
i know i am a little late on posting this but i would like to announce that my baby boy jose santiago decided to make his big apperance on tuesday june 10,2014. i started out having mild contractions on monday all night long and had to go to the bathroom every hour.i didnt really pay that much attention to them because i just thought it was still my body getting ready for labor.then around 7:30 tuesday morning i had woke up still hurting but still nothing major. my mom had come in my room and asked me how i was feeling and i told her that i was contracting all night long and she said that i needed to get ready and she was going to take me to the hospital. when we got there i was already 3 cm and they told me to get up and walk around so i could dilate a little more.finally the doctor came and talked to me and she told me that i had 2 options which waas i could go home or they could break my water and connect me to pitocin. i decided for them t break my water and started the poticin. the contractions really kicked in about 30 mins later and i had to get my epidural but i couldnt handle the pain anymore.shortly after the epidural the nurse checked me again and said oh you are 9 cm. my bloodpressure dropped and babys heartbeat went down really low. they gave me some medicine to get his heart rate back up and then they called the doctor for me to start pushing.finally at 5:20 pm he was born weighing in at 6 pounds and 3 ozs. he is so beautiful. after soo long of me waiting for him and feeling horrible during pregnancy im glad my baby decided to make his big entrance. im in love all over again. i want to say thank you to the ladies that answered my questions and listened to me during my time on here. i wanna wish all of you ladies a safe delivery and a healthy baby. once again thank you so much!!!! :)
