baby laundry detergent

What is the best detergent to use I just bought some Dreft it cost me 12$ for 50fl oz I feel like that's ridiculous I read after I bought it that it's not good because it has scent which isn't good for the baby.

We use Dreft and then switch to All Free and Clear here.

I have prewashed everything using purex baby detergent because until the little one gets here you dont know what they might be allergic to. Any free and clear detergent fits in the same catergory as baby soap so it would be fine too.

Anything hypo-allergenic and inscented.
Like All free and clear, I use method (target brand) free and clear. Also skip the dryer sheets.

I make my own actually much much cheaper, and great for the sensitive skins. I started because my kiddos have excema and even the "sensitive" detergent breaks them out. :-) look on pinterest for what recipe will work best but even with 4 kids and a husband, I only make it and spend $20 every 6-9 months... good luck mama.

I use Purex baby, it's only 3.98$ and if you want you can hang clothes outside to dry and will have no scent

Unless baby has allergies what ever you use is fine. I would recommend name brand because a lot of people are allergic to off brand detergent. Dreft just smells like a baby but special detergents are not necessary unless baby breaks out. Baby can have allergies to even a non-scented or baby detergent.

I'm going to get All free and clear. I think you can use anything as long as there is no dye/perfumes. I'm not going to break our bank on laundry detergent! But I'm definitely not using regular sisp with dyes and scents because I don't want him to break out either. Baby's skin is just so sensitive you never know

That's what I got for my first but my second I just used my regular soap and she was fine. I'm going to try the same thing with this one and if I have to buy baby detergent.
