Red cabbage water is a pH indicator. My best friend. teaches high school chemistry and they do an experiment with it for the acid/base chemistry section. I wonder if there is any evidence of pH changes in urine related to the sex of the baby. That may be what the at home gender test is based on.... I'll have to check into that.

We will see what happens come ultrasound time. Thats so awesome you ladies had luck with it. I posted about the Intelligender test I baught for $30.00 and it worked for my last daughter. I tried it and it was right its a boy :) there is also another trick that i tried and was right to  u take red babbage boil it and take the water of  the cabbage after boiling it and mix it with the same amount of ur urine if it turns pink or red or changed color it means a boy if it stays the same color purple its a girl . U can read about it online . Its fun anyways :)) and both tests said a boy and its true :)

I've also seen this on YouTube. I may give this ago. There's loads of different thing's you can try to tell you the gender mostly old wives tales but lots of fun trying them out.  Its good to see so many of you ladies having the right answer to. Wonder who woke up one day and thought of this little trick lol x
