so nervous!!

6 years ago I was in a relationship that wasn't the best and when I found out I was pregnant my ex asked that I have an abortion. By the time it came round to it (after the ultrasound etc) I was 13weeks and needed the surgical abortion that unfortunately damaged the neck of my womb. Since then I have had two miscarriages and I am currently 7weeks pregnant with my new partner of 2 years. Has anyone here had similar problems and had a successful pregnancy after this kinda thing? I'm so worried that this pregnancy will go the same way as the previous two that every twinge or pain I'm running to the loo to make sure I'm not bleeding! :(

I tried to speak to the midwife over the phone about my concerns but all she basically did was give me the number to the early pregnancy worries helpline where they basically just try to reassure you it will be okay. I have my first appointment with the midwife on the 28th so will be addressing the matter there and then and will be asking about the cervical stitch and hopefully I will get it, I will do anything to help keep this baby safe. I've even cut down my hours at work and relaxing more just so there is less stress on my body. Thank you for your kind words and fingers crossed everything goes to plan :)

Thank you. I'm now in a healthy happy relationship and the timing is perfect but so scared! Got the midwife on the 28th and scan 19th may so fingers crossed! I've read so many articles and forums about my particular problem but only thing I can find is that the doctor can put a stitch in the neck of my womb to try secure it but don't know the risks etc of that :S
