boy native American names
Does anyone know any boy , Native American, names. Our baby is going to be 1/2 NA. Please help me so i can surprise my man with this.

In my tribe it's if they actually give the baby a name in the language. Only can use the non native spelling and meaning. To my knowledge so far. My elders didn't disagree with naming my daughter river. It's as long as we don't spell it in the native language.
Dakotah or Lakota are very Sioux names
HE was adopted age 5 and his real mom dead and father is gone. So i thought i could surprise him with a couple of NA names for a boy. Tribe is Sioux tribe.

What tribe is your man affiliated with?
You could probably look online to see the root of any name... i dont know of any 'regular English' names with a Native meaningoff hand... my fiance lives on reserve and any native name that is given to a baby is done through an elder of the commnity.
