I did try fenugreek per my dr recommendation, and not only did it turn my milk a light green color but to get milk stimulation you need to take like 9 pills a day for it to be effective. I was taking only 2 per day and quit after I saw my milk turning color and smelling funny

You should look into your local La Leche League group. It is an educational support group for breastfeeding Moms and babies. My Mom was a leader for a number of years. You can find more info about it on their website.

I took it for a few days when my supply dipped from a stomach bug. It got my supply back where it was. I took 4 capsules 3 times a day. Each dose with a meal.

I used it and went on to breastfeed for 18 months. If used correctly it definatly works. The trick is if you dont smell like maple syrup you are not using enough. I believe I took 3 pills 3 times a day. Definitely could have been more though.

I was told that if you pump after you breast feed for 10-15 mins it tricks your body into thinking the baby needs more and this will help up your supply.

I've never taken fenugreek. However, oatmeal, brewer's yeast and drinking more water helped my supply.
