breastfeeding with a fever

so two hours ago my fever was at 103.4 and within two hours it has gone down to 101
I'm not sure what to do because I breastfed my daughter before I knew I had the fever and I'm scared shell get sick.

update! I went to the hospital and I ended up with a breast infection and I start my antibie tomorrow :)

How far post partum are you? If this could be an infection due to delivery you need to get checked out asap!!

You are supposed to breastfeed still when you are sick. they encourage you to for antibodies! Just keep an eye out. I'm sure she will be fine:)

Your breast milk makes antibodies to protect baby. Its not going to hurt the baby to breast feed while sick.
