Thank you ladies for your response and I did have some cramping for the first 2 months on and off but no bleeding and my next appointment is January 20th. I'll be 16 weeks that week and I find it odd that I had hypertension with my daughter so they had to induce me then it led to a c section so why wouldn't she say because you had all these problems with your daughter let me make sure everything is normal and I want to do VBAC but I'm just so a Faria that I will tear my uterus but I don't want another c section because my hubby and I want to have 2 more kids after this one.
First ultrasound is generally between 18-20 weeks. A little odd that she hasn't listened for a heartbeat yet, but yeah,, just ask at your next appointment. If you're growing normally and haven't had any cramping or anything, I'm sure your baby is fine. But for your own peace of mind, totally ask for the heart beat. You can probably even go to a walk in appointment at your local clinic just to hear it.
It sometimes depends on your doctor. With my current doctor, even though I have a high risk pregnancy, I have to be really forceful about getting checked and making appointments. I think you should just ask when they will send you, and let them know that you're worried.
Just ask at your next appt. And you might not feel the baby move until closer to 20 weeks. I wouldn't be that worried.
