I had my first c section 4 weeks ago, the second day in my opinion is worse. But getting up and moving was the best thing I went shopping when she was 4 dayd old - discharged only after 2 days because of my progress and capability to get uo and move. Pain started to ease greatly after a week but even now at 4 weeks post I still have tenderness if I touch my tummy but its fine.

I took endone, paracetamol and anti inflammatory medications up to a week post and then just paracetamol when needed.

Mine was emergency and I was walking around shopping mall 3 or 4 days after. The first 3 nights were the worst I was very stiff and sore in the muscles but then the surgeon wasnt exactly gentle. I had a huge band of bruising across my  abdomen. After about a week I was pretty good. I didnt have the morphine because it made me feel sick so I just had some pills they give out in the hospital but I think I only took those for the first week. Couldnt have lived without them lol. Plus panadol. Ive heard planned ceasars are a lot less painful.
