No weight gain First trimester?

Hi girls,
I just started week 11 and only have 2weeks left of my first trimester.
I havn't gained any weight. I look no different from before, maybe slightly more plum boobs- but hardly any difference.
I read that weight gain is a sign of a growing baby.
Should I be concerned that I still havn't gained anything?
Did you girls gain anything in your first trimester?

I lost weight in the first 20 weeks because of incessant vomiting & food aversions... But I managed to gain 32lbs in the last 20 weeks like a fatty mcfattypants. Lol

In my first trimester i lost about 6-8 pounds due to nausea and food aversions. Im now 18 weeks and have gained only 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. My gyno said this can be normal is some women depending on your body type as long as you're keepibg hydrated and eating well.

I lost weight during my entire pregnancy but still have birth to a healthy baby boy. If your doctor isn't worried then neither should you

I'm 14w1d & I'm the same weight I was at 9 weeks (122 lbs.).. my OB says as long as I'm not losing weight I'm fine. I also have a colon disease though, so it makes it a little more difficult for me to gain and/or keep weight on.

she suggested Carnation Breakfast Essentials for me.. it's not a meal replacement, but it's a supplement.. so it'll just add to whatever I eat throughout the day. just kinda gives me an extra bit of nutrients.. if you're worried about your weight, drinking those won't hurt a bit. (she also said Ensure was a good supplement, but some people don't like the taste). I've drank the Carnation ones before.. once I got diagnosed with my disease.. it helped me gain a few pounds back after getting down to 95 lbs.

we're just going to keep an eye on it, and if I don't gain enough weight eventually then I'll probably just have to see specialist..
try one of those drinks & see how that goes.. I'm sure you're fine though!!
good luck!!! ((((:

I am 12wks 3dys. When I first found out I was pregnant at 7 wks I weighed 116lbs, when I went back for my 10wk ultrasound I had gained 2 lbs. My next appt isn't until 5/6 and I'm curious to know my weight . I heArd that most women gain 0-5 lbs the first trimester. I wouldn't worry!

I wouldn't worry too much. I lost ten lbs my first trimester... I couldn't eat a thing. I really didn't start to gain until 22 weeks then I put on two lbs a week for six weeks. I am 32 weeks and have gained 20lbs from my pregnancy weight. Ask your dr if you still feel concerned. It never hurts to ask.
