Alexander means "protector;" I'm thinking of Zander for mine, if it's a boy, possibly Zeddicus for the middle name. I like to use names from books that hold a lot of meaning to me. My daughter, Elayne, is named after a character in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Zeddicus comes from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. If this next one is a girl I want to name her Stella Sophia. Stella comes from The Mayfair Witches by Anne Rice. Yes, I am a nerd!
