Your welcome. It's quick you won't feel pain until actual labor. Cerclage ain't nothing (=
Thank you. .she said it was loose and near the end so it should be easy to get out. Im jus a baby when it comes to pain lol
This is my 2nd cerclage. When they removed mine at 36 weeks it didn't hurt me. It felt like a pap smear to me. You feel a little pressure down there but once they remove it you feel normal again. Might get cramps or start contracting after they remove them. I dilated to 4cm with my son within 10 mins after removal of cerclage.
Cerlcage is mostly used for incompetent cervix. Basically my cervix isnt strong enough to hold my baby in. I had the surgery at 18 weeks its been successful im now almost 33 weeks. If I hadn't jad the surgery I would have lost him at 20 weeks. The surgery didnt hurt I had a spinal tap for that I wasnt sore afterwards im jus scared taking it out will hurt
@dmaxine88 that's stitches the Dr do to ur cervix so it will be close and ur baby won't come out before is supposed to
My dr said it may a lil bu t im curious what others have experienced.
That's a good question, I wanna know too, I have one done, I heard that it feels like when they do the papsmear, I don't know of that's how's spelled lol
I had mine taken out after being in labor for 7 days after my water broke. It hurt so bad. I couldn't take it, so my sweet doctor made everyone leave the room, then he had a nurse put something in my IV and I couldn't feel it after that. I was 25 weeks.
