Anyone have a healthy pregnancy after losing a baby?

Hi, I just found out I am pregnant again should be 5 weeks today. I am very nervous bc last year I got pregnant with triplets and lost one at 11 weeks then my water broke at 16 weeks and I had them at almost 18 weeks. I'm just afraid somethimg like this might happen again and I really don't think I can mentally or physically do that again. I also have a little girl who will be 4 in three weeks who I had a good pregnancy with other than a little high blood pressure and being very swollen. So my question is has anyone ever lost a baby then go on to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby?

I aslo misscarried at 9 weeks last year, it took me exactly a year to get pregnant again which is kind of strange to loose and find out on the same day a year later. I am currently 25+5 and everything has gone smoothly but of course I worry all the time..praying for you and all others out there who have gone through a loss! :)

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry for all of your loss! I believe God does everything for a reason and I know my babies are being so well taken care of by him and his angels:) I just hope this time is different and that I get to raise this or these babies.I have a felling this time will be much different and better for me.

My story is sad but hopefully it will help you....I miscarried my first two babies early on and tried for a long time to get preg.with my son. Finally after 8 months it happened.I was so scared and made sure I did everything by the book to keep him healthy BC like you I couldn't go through another loss...he was born a healthy 8lb 1Oz boy.....six months later I was in a terrible car accident killing my previous baby...I accidentally got pregnant six months after car accident and had my beautiful daughter and as scared as I was while pregnant with her and not sure I wanted to even have more kids it all worked out and now i'm pregnant again and refuse to worry.I've learned you just have to let life have its way with you...we plan god laughs

I miscarried my first at 12 weeks and am now 22 weeks with my little girl. I'm still very nervous, but my doctor is not at all concerned. I'll be keeping everyone in my prayers

My doctor told me the same too! She thinks that maybe since I miscarried the triplet it made everything else go haywire and that's why it happened. I know that God wouldn't do anything that isn't meant to be so hopefully this baby or babies are meant to be!:)

Thank you! I will keep you updated! After that happened my doctor told me it was just a fluke that it all happened and that she didn't think it would happen again so I pray she is right bc we have been wanting another baby so bad! And good luck to you too! I will be praying everything goes well for you too!

Everyone thought I was weird cause I wasn't worried about the 1st trimester and miscarrying but now being in the 2nd has me scared n nervous so much. I'm hoping some of this passes once I pass 19 weeks. But good luck n keep me updated please and its nothing but good news the whole time :) atleast I know I'm not alone being this way :)

When I called to make my appt Tuesday she wanted me to come in yesterday but I couldn't so I go Thursday so I guess she's gonna keep a close on me since I will only be 5weeks 6days my first appt. Usually they don't want you to come in until around 7 weeks. I'm praying everything goes well and I hope for just one baby this time bc I would be less nervous this pregnancy.

12/31/11 I delivered my angel at 18 weeks and am in the same boat as you, being pregnant (I'm 13-5 weeks) and am scared out of my mind. The only thing keeping us sane is our doctor is having me come in every 2 weeks for appts so he can keep a close watch on the baby. Plus my best friend lost her first child at 39 weeks and went on to have 4 more pregnacies. 2&3 pregnacy was good,3rd miscarried, and 4th healthy. So I know you can have normal ones after but just lots of fears with them :)
