common sense! !

Ladies, I know we can all be emotional , forgetful and a little crazy during pregnancy but don't be stupid! If you are being mentally, or physically abused or other children who live with u. LEAVE!!! Do not worry about what will happen to the abuser, what people will think or how u will survive. The fact is if you are in danger or your loved ones, only u can change your situation.  Don't wait until it escalates, because then if you or your children are seriously injured it is your fault for sticking around! Abusers rarely change they only get bolder. I speak from experience. Help your self because we can not.

Amen to that! As a mother, you are your children's only protection. Doesn't matter what people say, or how much your abuser claims they love you- DO NOT PUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN IN DANGER! If you have no one to go to, there are always shelters. I would rather be homeless and safe with my kids, than beaten on and expose my children to that kind of life. Please be strong mamas!

I have been there too but for someone who is still in the relationship its hard for them to see themselves getting to the point that we are. Ive been there wondered how can i do this and tried several times and he came after every time. ...i switched cars hair style anything. Papers and police cant always protect someone its just somethinf that person has to plan for and leave the best they can and people with them at all times. And some threaten to hurt family or friends which makes it even harder for that person to leave. All we can do is give them the best advice and our stories not criticize them and make them feel even less of person then they already feel.
