constant heartburn

Every day at least twice a day, I get heartburn no matter what I do or do not eat. I know taking tums is ok but it cannot be safe to take daily and constantly. Do any moms know of any natural remedies to ease the uncomfortable pain?

Hard peppermint candy helps me. I get heartburn bad

I completely understand I have heartburn everyday no matter what I eat or even if im not eating I try to have anything cold water and ice especially for me.

Milk sometimes works but usually I take tums but all tums really is is calcium so the doctor says it's fine as long as you're not taking more than you should.. I know they can prescribe other things if it's really bad. I've had heartburn since my first child and it never went away but now that I'm pregnant again, it's worse! I totally get how it doesn't even matter what you eat, it's such a crappy feeling!

I drink cold water or mill. Not warm milk tho I never tried that

Plain, yellow mustard is the only thing that works for me!!! I swear by it and recommend it to anyone who gets heartburn. Just like a packet, I keep some in my purse, or a squirt from the bottle works immensely!!! Knocks out out within 5-10 minutes.

Warm milk helps me alot. And my bf works at a health food store. An they do have all naturals for heartburn. They help sooooo much.
