doppler suggestions?

well a lot of you have noticed the recent stethoscope question, but I'm curious about a really good & affordable baby doppler than I can use to hear the baby's heartbeat?

it would just bring a lot of comfort to me & my fiancé since we've faced a couple scares during this pregnancy.

I'm currently 11w1d, and I know you have to wait until a certain time for most to be able to hear it, but I was just wondering if anyone had one to recommend??

thanks in advance!! keep us in your prayers! (((: ❤

I found it! & it's only $30 on that website, good to know! lol

I'll definitely get this one if I can't afford the other at that point in time, and you helped a lot.

thank you again, very much!! (((:

yeah, I noticed the one that you put directly on your belly is only like $30, the one with the wand is like $45?

I plan on getting it in a couple of weeks so, I guess it'll just depend on how much money I have to spare at that moment! lol

thank you so much for your response!! I really appreciate it!! (((:

I'll check out babybeat.com too! haven't come across that one at all!!

& @yahyamom: which angel sound one do you have? the one with the wand? or the one you put directly on your belly? the one with the wand is more expensive, so I assumed it worked better? but that may not be the case I guess...

I used babybeat .com and love my doppler! You rent them for about 20 a month and they have coupons you can Google too! I was about to hear mine around 9.5 weeks pressing rather hard hut now at almost 14 weeks, it's so much easier! Plus the type of gel matters a lot. They sent a thicker stickier gel but my Dr gave me a more water based gel and it's way more clear. She said to buy water based lube and not waste money on the ultrasound gels they sell online too. Best of luck!

I think 13 weeks is optimal time to be able to find it with a doppler at home I got mine when I was already about 22 weeks and very worth it especially since I plan on 1 more lo I got mine off clinicalguard.com* (I think thats it) I got the sonoline b for 58 including shipping and I got it from there cuz they have very high customer rating and it came with tranfer gel

and I watched a video of a girl who was able to find the heartbeat at 9w5d I think.. so I should be able to find out baby's!!

thank you soooo much!! (((:

well thank you again! I'm trying to figure out about how far along I need to be b/c I do NOT want to get it, then freak out if I can't hear it!

I'm still looking, but it looks like the one you mentioned is the most popular & it's FDA approved.. thanks again!! ((:

Well, I hope whichever one you get from ebay, works well enough to hear the heartbeat. That would be so awesome. There was another website, but I can't remember it at the moment.

thank you for that info.!!

fetalharmony.com seems to be out of stock of every single doppler I looked at!! lol that's super frustrating!!

I have considered ebay, and it looks like that may be my last resort.. a lot of them say I can hear it around 12 weeks, but we shall see!

I really wish they weren't out of stock, that way it would be fairly easy to return if anything was wrong with it! "/
