First U/S in few, scared

Im 9w and in a couple of hours im about to go to my first u/s and i am terrified but so excited at the same time. I guess im just scared to get bad news.My breasts are still sore and tender oand i do feel sharp pain behind my belly button every now and then like something is in there growing and stretching but i am just a nervous wreck right now. Anyone else ever felt like that? I need positive thoughts and prayers right now. 3 weeks ago i did go the ER cause i was spotting and scared me that something was wrong. The doctor there did say he heard and saw a heartbeat and the baby looked perfect and healthy. Thats whats keeping me positive right now, that a heartbeat was detected at 6w. I havent had any spotting or anything since that day. So am i being paranoid for no reason at all?

I'm 30 weeks and I still freak out before every ultrasound.. but seeing and hearing her heartbeat melts my heart. Good luck and congrats on your baby!

I had my first u/s at 9weeks too :) you may be nervous but trust me when you see that little potatoe like picture and you see the heartbeat going faster then you can ever imagine and when you hear it! Its amazing! I knew the heartbeat was fast but to actually see and hear it is unbelievable! You will probably see it move a little although at that stage you cant really tell which end is which lol :) but he or she is just beautiful!

I was scared they would tell me nothing is there that i would have to try again but then i went saw him and at 18 weeks foumd out it was a boy and omg! It us amazing to see them going from a potatoe shape to having features that you can actually see!

Good luck momma! Dont stress and be excited!
