I'm so nervous. This is my 1st time being pregnant. Any tips on how to keep nausea down. I'm 5 weeks & I can barely drink water.

taking extra vitamin B6 can help.
i had a stomach bug last week, i couldn't keep down water - they gave me Zofran, it was amazing

if you can't drink water, call your doc, the might get you in sooner or call in a prescription over the phone - dehydration is very dangerous.

I love home remedies. Can you send me some? Sometimes I forget I'm pregnant & still try to diet. So I don't eat as much. :( I know. But this is new and exciting.

Also having a snack close to bed helps the main reason we get nausea is from an empty tummy. Congrats and good luck, being a mom is the greatest!

Also frequent eating or a constant snacking help me get rid of nausea pretty quick.

Ginger snaps or ginger ale but you have to drink it flat. Kinda gross but sip it with some saltine crackers and that helps. Also ive heard prego pops work. I use essential oils as well. 3rd pregnancy and have had consistant nausea with each and these things help. I also use some herbal remidies if you would like let me know and I can give you some information on the oils and herbs.

I had the same problem. Try crackers right when you wake up before you get out of bed. Other gentle foods are good like plain cereals and oatmeal our chicken noodle soup. My doc gave me anti nausea meds which help too. I found hard candies like lifesaver and jolly rancher help a lot too.
