Congratulations on your new Baby!!! And wishing you and your son a speedy recovery!!
In the end I was right to go with my gut because his heart dropped at one point so either way ibwoyldve ended up with a c section ......guess mommy instincts kicked in! Thanx ladies
You are NOT a failure, you'll still have your baby at the end and that's all that matters! I would have made the same decision you did!
I wouldve done vaginal definitely but ur not a failure its ur choice so if u want csection its ok gd luck
Trust your gut on this one. Nobody knows your body better than you and if you've already had a problem before, risking a second incident could end differently. Good luck mamma.
Definitely do not feel like a failure but I know the feeling! After over 24 hours of induced labor resulting in nothing, I had one and later felt like a failure too. I probably would've made the same decision as you, honestly.
This is not my first c section the same exact thing happened with my first turned at the last min but still wcouldn't come down so I ended up with a c section anyway . it just feels like de ja vu all over again that's y I decided to go through with the c section anyway
I would have tried for vaginal as well.. I had a c section and the healing is rough especially with having to take care of a new born. Good luck lady! Hope all goes well for you and baby!
Good for you. You did what was right for you.
Recovery is rough no matter what. I would love to deliver vaginally, but a last minute change like that would stress me out and I'm not sure what I would have done. You are doing what you thought was best for you, so don't feel bad.
I support your decisions. I wish you all the best of luck.
I wouldve tried vaginal also but dont see you as a failure for choosing what you wanted.
I would have tried vaginal if I were you. Recovery is going to be rough for you.
Not a failure! You had prepared for the c-section. Switching last minute can be very overwhelming. I just hope your doc gets the insurance to pay for it. Insurance companies like to refuse claims if they are deemed not medically nessarry
Absolutely not a failure. The end result will still be the same. Dont beat yourself up. A c section is still a big thing and is still a big step. Just take a deep breath and get ready to meet your baby xx
u made the right decision.
keep us informed ... looking forward to an update.
all the best to you ! :-)
Good luck and God bless you!!! You are a very strong mama!
Not a failure!!! You were prepared for one thing and have been focused on that!!! Too much stress I would have said to do the c section too!!!! Good luck!!!
I feel like you should have tried for the vaginal? C sections come at greater risks why would u opt to do one if u don't have to??
You are not a failure at all...cheer up n you decided what's best for you n your baby. Best wishes. Let us know how everything goes
YOUR NOT A FAILURE EITHER WAY UR STILL BRINGING A PRECIOUS BABY IINTO THIS WORLD. STICK WITH YOUR GUT HUN. GOOD LUCK N CONGRADS: )
Don't feel like a failure. Everyone is different, and you have been mentally preparing for this operationfor weeks. Do check with your insurance though, just in case.
Sometimes we go with our instincts for a reason as mothers my daughter was a c section. They keep turning her externally and she would turn back around they did this twice and was getting ready to do it a third and I said no were not doing that again. She was born with her cord wrapped around her neck twice if she would of came naturally she wouldn't of made it.
