flu bug!

I think I'm coming down with the flu. I got the flu shot in October. I have a dry cough, my body aches, I'm super weak, no appetite, fever and wheezing pretty bad. I'm 30 weeks in 2days.

The flu shot they gave this year was not for the flu that is going aroubd right now. The flu shot is given based on a prediction of which strain will be going around and this year's prediction was wrong.

If you are wheezing I would sleep elevated just so nothing settles in your chest.  I was told to make a dr. visit if the cough went over a week.  Don't wait too long where it could get much worse.  I just got over that flu with vomiting and it was awful.  I hope you feel better soon, drink tons of water. :)

My doctor had insisted I get the flu shot and when I did, that following week I was sick as a dog!! I could have sworn I'd had the flu! I had fevers, chills, and was congested for maybe a full week.

So you can still get the flu, even if you had the shot!

Get tested for the flu, I work in a doctors office and we have had a lot of flu cases lately.... Fever is not good during pregnancy... Go to an urgent care and get tested for the flu.... Last week we had a 1 year old with the flu, he also had the flu shot....

I'm not sure if its the flu or a symptom because in my first trimester I got sick really bad and I thought it was the flu but the doctor said its just part of pregnancy symptoms.... & they couldn't give me any meds they just told me to ride it out good luck
