fraternal twins - one 'squashed' sac
Had an early scan to confirm dates, when I was scanned there was two sacs - one with a fetal pole and heartbeat measuring 5weeks 5 days the other was odd shaped (they described it as 'squashed') and had no heart beat. Is it possible that this is just because its so early? or is it unlikely to develop? has anyone else had this?
5 weeks is kind of early. I didn't hear a heart beat with my first until 7 weeks and my second was 8 weeks.
It may be two early I know I heard the ladies on here say u usually don't hear heartbeat till 6 weeks anyway
got to go back in a week for another scan - didn't say much else
