Labor nurse here, please wait the 6 weeks before becoming active again. I've seen tears get infected and seen then tear open so bad that we had to re repair them. It's worth the wait!

Ypu want to make sure your cervix is closed back up and back to normal. That's another thing they tell.you to watch out for. Don't want a nasty infection! I'd do what my doctor said cuz that's an area I don't want to mess with lol

My doc recommends 6 weeks pelvic rest after vaginal birth.  I'm following the rules bc I want no futures issues down there!

It depends how you were cut i think....I had an epesiotomy and even though we waited at least 5 weeks to have sex I somehow look like I never healed!! I'm not sure when it happened, but I must have split my stitches and the doctor never said anything to me!! I gave him head a lot lol, and even we finally decided to try we just went really slow because even though it may not feel like it hurts now, it will after sex (especially if he's big) ;-) we never tried anal in lieu of vaginal, but I'd think it might be a better way to start if you're used to it...if you don't normally do it that way or it's your first time I wouldn't recommend that, but just make sure to use lots of lube and go very slow if you do decide to try!! And report back lol ;-) Good luck

I'd wait at least 3 more weeks. You don't want to mess up your recovery
