Didn't get worse after delivery but they can. The tucks will be helpful and you use them after delivery even without hemmoroids. You can't soak in the tub later so do it now. Ice does help a lot. The hospital stuffed some icecubes in a newborn diaper as an icepack too. The pad is a good idea.
Thanks ladies. My hubby bought some tucks pads with witchhazel and it seems to be somewhat soothing. I worry how bad they will get after pushing this little gal out. Also I apologize about all my misspellings! I called my docs office and they reccomend to soak in Epsom salt bath. Also I saw another girl that posted she soaked a feminine hygiene pad in water and witchhazel and froze it in the freezer.... waited a couple hours and out it in her undies after giving birth. May have to try that also! Wishing all you ladies safe delivery!
Hemroid cream is the only thing that has worked for me personally. I have them really bad after to from pushing so hard but some drs will push them back in for you. They only hurt bad when there not inside of me. I use a thin pad to cause it stains my undies. I have had to use it my whole life tho. Sorry you got them so bad. I don't like them at all. I hope you get relief from something.
Vicks helps with the pain. Ya they usually dissappear afterwards
