hematoma in early pregnancy?

Has anyone ever had a hematoma (blood clot) in their uterus? What was your experience? Im six weeks and my doctor put me on bed rest. Should I be really worried?

oh, and mine was in between my uterus & placenta I think.. I bled dark brown blood twice. 1st time was enough to fill a liner, which is why my fiance rushedme to the ER, and then I spotted for a few days. a week later, 2nd time wasn't as heavy, called OB and all was fine, spotted for a couple of days & nothing since. that was around 10w6d. as long as there's no bright red blood or no clots, you should be fine.

I was diagnosed with it at 9w4d in the ER & confirmed 2 days later at my OB - last ultrasound was at 13w6d & she didn't mention it, and I'm 15w3d now! I have to see a specialist tomorrow about my cervix so I'll be getting another ultrasound, I plan on asking them to check on it for me too. don't stress, it'll go away.. good luck!! (((:

I had one also... I haven't heard anything about it since seen it at 7 weeks I'm. 11 now

I had 1 under the placenta until I was 30 weeks pregnant. I had 2 bleeding episodes (1st one at 12 weeks 2nd 1 at 16 weeks)it grew and shrunk a few times before it finally resolved. I had a lot of sonos to monitor the size of my hematoma and the growth of the baby.   The only thing I can say is take it easy be on top of ur obgyn and do not stress yourself.  What ever the doc tells u to do do.  Don't look on the Internet it only stresses you. I had 3 with this pregnancy.  One of which was quite large. They didn't resolve till 20ish weeks, but everything has been smooth sailing since.

I had one in my early pregnancy and they said it probably came from the implantation. It was gone by my following ultrasound. Try not to worry yourself to much.

Mine was little and not by the baby at all.  It's a little scary If it's by the baby and it continues to grow.  Hope everything goes good for you.

Yes I did. I had it at my 6 week ultrasound and by my 8 week ultrasound it was gone :). I didn't experience any bleeding or anything. . Some People do.  Hope yours goes away too.
