homemade beef jerky?

My husband smokes his own beef jerky and I was wondering if it's Ok for me to eat? It's smoked at a high temperature so it is cooked all the way.  It smells soooo good lol :).. Hope I can eat it.

Homemade is fine. You can't eat the packages kind due to the ingredients.
