I understand that people think that people have the right to make their bed and lay in it, but this is a helpless innocent baby who is a victim of selfish destruction which will not only suffer physically from this but will suffer emotionally in that home environment.  I can't support or not judge someone who is abusing a baby. Even if you had a slight doubt in your choice, that should tell you to side with caution.  I hope that you can get help.

Lol madness at its finest. Ladies don't stress yourselves out cause a mother to be is making her own choice in suffocating her own baby, she may regret it or may not at the end, but to each their own.

Stop fighting ! This lady hasnt answered I think Im right, she was high when she wrote this and she is probably somewhere still high and will see this tomorrow and be confused.

I cant get angry when a person who chooses to make their own bed, a the end of the day she has to lay in it.

Everything OctoberMommy is saying is true. Even IF the drug itself didnt effect the baby, you are restricting oxygen and blood flow to your developing child. Which he or she needs desperately to develop and live.

And also, pot makes you hyper focus on things you normaly don't, which means no. Your baby is not moving more because you're getting stoned off your rocker and he or she likes or hates it, you are just focusing more on the movements.

Its unlikely the baby is feeling ANY effect, but with depriving him of oxygen and blood, I'd think about what you're doing. Sure baby may come out just fine, but do you really want to risk that 1 in however many babies effected by drug use be YOUR baby?! Selfish.

you're restricting the blood vessels in the umbilical cord too (which is also a fact) so if you want ALL of the possibilities, the baby COULD be struggling for air.. and that's called reality.

stop using google, and talk to a doctor. geez people. God bless your baby!

yes, the baby is getting high - which means the pot is having an influence on brain development.
even in states or countries were marijuana legal, that is for adults not babies

um, in MY defense.. it's not just the fact of what it is, smoking ANYTHING decreases oxygen supply to the baby. alcohol is legal, but does that make it okay to consume while pregnant? people should think before asking questions or responding.. period.

& you're right, to each their own. I didn't make nor will I push her baby out, but when you make a post on a public forum.. you get responses from the public.

All y'all are quick to jump on the cps crap and either is post was by this woman really wondering or some fool trying to get us all into an argument.... All I know is there is nothing that says weed does anything to your child... Personally I don't smoke anything... But to each their own...

I really dislike seeing things like this ... But may God be with your baby. Hopefully you'll be blessed with the maturity of being a mom.

I hope that you know if your doctors find traces of the pot in your baby at birth, you will no longer have your child, right?!

Really?! I have nothing against pot... but really?! You're asking this?! I was told I could NEVER have kids of my own, and people like this get pregnant so easily...

Some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids. My doctors office does a drug screening at every visit and I wish they all did that. We tried 6 years to get pregnant and suffered 2 miscarriages and hearing stuff like this gets me so upset.
