i have a serious question
Why when I'm smoking marijuana that seem to be the time my baby moves the most ... is that a good thing r a bad thing I'm just wondering

Wow. I dont know if its a good thing or a bad thing. But I do know smoking anything while pregnant is not good for the baby. Not trying to be judgemental, just stating a fact. It deprives your baby of oxygen.

My mother smoked the entire pregnancy with my sister and myself, nothing is wrong with either of us. A few of my friends have also done the same thing and all have very happy healthy babies and children. In fact, most are doing better than the friends I have who were beyond perfect during pregnancy or did the occasional glass of wine. I was told by my Dr to smoke during my first trimester so I wouldn't miscarry because I was in an awfully stressful living situation. There is NO research that shows it does anything to the child. I'm told every ultrasound how perfect and strong my baby boy is and I smoked until I was about 17 weeks because of all of the nausea and stress I was under but have felt so good since, I havent felt the need to smoke.
There was even a study done in Africa about women ingesting marijuana and since it didn't have the negative results that they wanted to publish, they stopped the study.

If ur baby test positive for marijuana theres a good chance the hospital can call cps and remove your child out of your care and place them with a family member. Think about the precious life inside of you as a gift from God.

You are likely to get some strong opinions about this, so I will simply say that you should talk to your doctor before you make the decision to continue smoking. They will help you make the decision that is best for your baby.

Im gonna guess u were high when u wrote this. Dont ask this here, goto your doctor and take it up with that person. Fyi if you continue to smoke through out your pregnancy just know child protective services will get involved.
I suggest you quit now while you can just for the safety and health of your baby. I quit drinking and smoking completely. Think of your baby, Im not judging just give your baby a healthy chance.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids. My doctors office does a drug screening at every visit and I wish they all did that. We tried 6 years to get pregnant and suffered 2 miscarriages and hearing stuff like this gets me so upset.
Really?! I have nothing against pot... but really?! You're asking this?! I was told I could NEVER have kids of my own, and people like this get pregnant so easily...
I hope that you know if your doctors find traces of the pot in your baby at birth, you will no longer have your child, right?!

How does anyone know she doesnt live in a state or country where marijuana is legal? um, in MY defense.. it's not just the fact of what it is, smoking ANYTHING decreases oxygen supply to the baby. alcohol is legal, but does that make it okay to consume while pregnant? people should think before asking questions or responding.. period.
