kinda wish

I kinda wish I would go into labor right now. I'm on 37wks and I know there's still development and growing to be done in the final weeks but my baby is already estimated at 7 1/2lbs and i can still have her vaginally. Anything over 8lbs I'll need a Csection due to past difficulties in labor. My doctor won't induce (which i agree with after being induced previously) so it's a waiting game. If she doesn't come by 39wks we'll do one last ultrasound to see where her weight looks to be and make the final decision on Csection or not. I'm still hoping not but that hope is getting smaller by the week. I'm glad she's healthy and growing well just wish she wouldn't grow quite so fast. She's been bigger than average since the very first ultrasound at 9wks.

Yeah I'm only 5ft also. And normally around 100-110lbs. I've had two of my three previous babies get stuck and it's scary and painful. I would put myself through it again though if it weren't for all the added risks to baby. I was lucky with the first two not having any lasting damage but they can end up with life long nerve damage. Plus my last doctor said if i had another vaginally I wouldn't be able to get it out alive after all the trouble we had with my last :-(

Im on the same boat..my son has been measuring one week ahead. Im only 5 ft tall and the doctor said i have until the week before my due date to be able to have him vaginally after that its a higher risk for his shoulders to get stuck. My due date is april 15. Kinda stinks bc i want a vaginal birth but as long as hes healthly its okay.

Awww, I hope you get to have her vaginally! Do you have a husband or bf that you can put on baby plunging duty? (Lol that's what my husband calls it). I don't know bc this is my first but maybe it will help things get going?
