losing hope

I posted the other day about bleeding, i'd been having light brown spotting for 2 weeks on and off and then on Monday had some red bleeding. I had an u/s which showed that the baby was ok at 8 wks 2 days but since I've continued to have brown blood and discharge, only light but its just getting to me more and more the longer it carries on. I feel like I can't keep getting a scan every few days to check everything is ok or keep calling the early pregnancy clinic or the Dr as if I am to lose this pregnancy there is nothing they can do but I just feel heartbroken the more it carries on that I could be miscarrying. Xxx

Put yourself on partial bed rest... do nothing.  Lift nothing. Relax....and take it easy! Drink a lot of water and do everything you can do...if that means getting a scan everyday... do it. I hope it works out!

Thanks I'm just finding it so tough to keep going. I have my midwife appointment tomorrow but will ring the early pregnancy clinic in the morning too to ask for advice coz my appointment with the midwife is only half 11 and that clinic closes at 11 xxx

Let me say this...I was bleeding very heavily...like period blood for the first three and a half months of my pregnancy. They called it a blood clot from implantation. Others called it a hemorrhage. Either way...when I turned four months about, the bleeding stopped. Some bleed all throughout pregnancy. I always was goin to the hospital cuz the clots were so bad I thought for sure it was a miscarriage.I am currently almost 19 weeks and baby is doing fine.strong heartbeat and all...so please don't stress. I am the master stresser...I should take pills for all my anxiety.lol.but seriously,if they say the baby is healthy then it is.don't worry more than u have to.good luck!

It could just be a low lying placenta. As long as it's brown I wouldn't worry so much about it just adds more stressed your baby
