Remember that cutting down to 2/3 a day is very good and you should be proud of that. Ive never smoked before but i understand that it is an addiction and hard to stop....like me and chocolate lol ive heard success stories with some of my friends. One of then replaced the cig with baby carrots. She eats bags of them now but its a lot healthier then smoking. Someone else i know is using the electric cig that just creates vapour. I dont know the name but it helps her because she likes the act of having the cig in her mouth. Ive heard of one lady on here actually and i loved her idea! I dont know who it is but she had written what cigarette did to her baby all over the box and ducked taped it. Then put that inside another box and did the same thing until she had a couple of boxes. So if she ever got a craving she would be forced to read all the bad things it didvandvactually work for it. It also helps to avoid corner stores and gas station. Pay at the pump to avoid to go inside and keep urself busy all the time. Good luck momma :) and remember to be proud of what youve done so far and just keep rewarding yourself. With the money you save go and buy something for the baby ;) anything that has a unisex color for now until you find out the gender!
I RECOMMEND THE E-CIG. U STILL GET A LIL NICOTINE BUT THE BABY DONT GET ALL THE RAT POISONING AND CHEMICALS IN REGULAR CIGS
Good luck. Struggled with my first. I ended up just cutting down as much as I could. But didn't actually quit. This time I managed to quit 4 months before falling pregnant. Less pressure helped I think. It's been over a year now. Again goodluck. Talk to your doc about your options of what you can take or do to help.
I was able to quit the day I found I was pregnant but some people can't. You may have to cut down little by little which is also fine.
I talked to my husband into quitting so I had less temptation and I stayed away from all my smoking areas as well as smoking buddies.
I don't recommend the patch or gum.
