lower abdominal tightening after sex

I've noticed that after my husband and I have sex my lower abdomen feels super tight. I just want to make sure everything is ok and if anyone has experienced this or knows what it is.

Oh, just saw it sorry.  A bit early for braxton hicks, is ask your dr but I'm sure it's all good.

How many weeks are you?  It's probably braxton hicks?

Ok thank you ladies! I'm 16 weeks and never had any spotting, but have to lay on my side and that usually helps but I'll definitely watch out when I get further along.

I have the same issue. I Find it to be almost unbearable if I have a multiple orgasm. I also spotted afterwards and my doctor said as long as it was not bright blood I am fine. I spotted with sex until 15 or 16 weeks depending if it was rough (tmi) or not. I am now going into week 20. Good luck

If you are achieving an orgasm that could be a possible reason.
