membrane sweep after c-section
Hello had any one had a membrane sweep after a C section.
My doctor suggested I have it done at 38 weeks. She said that this was the only way to induce labour after a c section.
I want to try have a vbac this time round if I can. I worried if I have the sweep at 38 weeks it will bring on the labour early. I don't know if I want to have the baby earlier than my due date. I would like to go into labour naturally if I could. But maybe that would lead to another c section. Did any of you ladies have the sweep done and go into early labor?

I have had a membrane sweep more than once for my last 2 pregnancies. It doesnt mean you will go into labor right away though it is uncomfortable ans can bring on cramping or contractions.
Anyone have a membrane sweep??
