membrane sweep
when do they usually give you a membrane sweep?will they give you one if you request it?I will be 38 weeks next week.
My ob did one when I was 38wks 2days which unfortunately did nothing besides make me cramp and have unproductive contractions. My ob only did the sweep because if I don't go into labor by Monday I'll be 39 weeks I will be induced. Unless u r body is ready before 38 weeks it will only cause unnecessary discomforts.
