Hi, I have been bleeding for five days. What started out as light spotting has progressively gotten worst.  Now have clots and bleeding in urine every time I go to bathroom.  Today the cramps set it. I have an ultrasound in a few days although can't help but think the worst is occurring.  Anyone else who has had bad bleeding at 8 weeks over several days? The GP has just put me on bed rest for now.

Please go to the er now! Do not wait! I almost died because i postponed it(i was out of town and wanted to get to my doctor). The bleeding got very bad in a few hours. Lost so much blod i could not stand up and my husband called the ambulance. They told me i might not survive the 3 hour drive to my doctor and had to do an emergency d&c there. Please go get checked out, don't wait a few days. So sorry for your loss, hope you are stronger than i was at the time.

The same thing happened to me November last year. I went and saw my doc whom told me to wait it out but she didn't seem concerned. I just knew there was something wrong. She didn't bother doing an ultrasound or anything. So I went to a different obgyn whom immediately sent me for an ultrasound and to get my blood drawn to check my hcg levels. Turns out the baby had died 2 weeks earlier, at 7 weeks and I was supposed to be 9 weeks. Well it ended up taking my body 3 weeks to pass it. Like the above said, if you are having clots then do not wait til your appt. Go to the ER. I'm so sorry you have to go through this and especially during the holidays. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. :(

I'm so sorry you're going through this, it's such an awful thing to experience. I've had a few miscarriages and they were exactly like what you have described.  For me, it usually starts out spotting, then progressively got heavier until day 5, which is when I passed the "products of conception" (horrible term I know), and the bleeding stopped the next day once that happened.
I hope you find some comfort with your loved ones during this tough time.

If you're passing clots, go to the er and get them to due an ultrasound now. Don't wait a few days.

I am 5weeks and have been bleeding for 2 days now. I'm going to the hospital soon to get checked and possibly have a D & c if necessary so heartbroken!
