mussels and clams?

I heard u can eat mussels an clams if cooked properly I also hear absolutely not. Can I eat them if I cook them correctly?

Not true you can't eat seafood from shells. They're are certain types of seafood you can't eat but you can eat cooked oysters and shells. There are very few items you shouldn't eat. I eat oysters all the time.

my opinion is i wouldnt eat them as they say u shouldnt eat seafood from shells...its 9     months of ur life i say just wait....

Cook thoroughly and check where you are getting them. If they have been inspected, its better (like the grocery store) or a restaurant that carries high quality sea food. If you haven't eaten there before it is some "market", I would avoid just because you can't control possible contamination (especially with shelled food).
