my baby came today

Yesterday my doctor did a membrane sweep. Around 10 pm I started noticing contractions. I think it was around 12 before I had sex and then fell asleep. Around 3 am, I woke up and I knew it was time to go.

Finally, at 9:17 a.m. my baby came into the world. He weighed in at 6 lbs 5 oz, and 19 1/2 Inches long. He's got a head full of blonde hair. Got my butt chin and his daddy's nose. Anxious to see if his eyes change color or not.

So far, everything is checking out fine. They're keeping an eye on his billurubin (?) levels.

Best of all, breastfeeding is working out super well so far!

And lastly, we still haven't decided on a name. But it's okay. It'll come to us. And now between my newborn and my 3 year old, I feel like the most special mom with 2 perfect little boys. <3
